That's interesting, I had a problem with BeejiveIM because I'd moved it to a different device and their suggestion was to delete and reinstall it. I actually downloaded it again yesterday and it's been working fine since.

Yeah it's been removed, rumors are going around about it being removed to there being so many bugs.

EVH. Same here, but still get the odd few people on MSN, and facebook chat seems to be popular with people i know, so i mainly use the iphone for that

I've been trying to find an answer online to a question I have but no definitive answer: Do the passwords for MSN/Google/Facebook etc get send encrypted, i.e. SSL? And when you log in (im not using push) are you connected through Beejive's servers or connected directly to MSN etc servers? Thanks in advance.

You go via Beejive servers. They say they do get encrypted, but you can only take their word for it.

Is anyone having trouble getting facebook IM to work in beejive IM? Ive just got the app, but each time its keeps telling me ive entered the wrong username/password...

Just bought this, didn't think it would be worth the £6 but decided to take the risk, am using it right now and it so far has more than justified the price tag compared to other IM apps.

Not actually had a chat using it, but I'm signed in fine with online friends showing up.

Facebook is working for me now. It wasn't though. I read on the beejive forums that they disabled this due to the server not being able to cope. Might be why.

How do you actually get beejive workign correctly? Ive setup my msn account on there, but even with it set to online after I close it, if someone trys to IM me iam shown as offline when the app is closed?!

I must be really thick or somethings up as iam having problems with IM+ too. Arrrgggg neither wanna work correctly for me

been using it now for a while, and its definitely good, some bugs for sure but i think they'll be ironed out

the push notifications are instant. The only downside seems to be that Facebook ones show user id rather than name, but i don't use FB chat much.
