Hi.
Im considering replacing my age-old WAG354G with a new ADSL Modem/Router.

Which ones are the best of the very wide range thats out there?

Thanks in advance all. :).

I've been impressed with Netgear DG834GT. Apart from my Texas Instrument AR7 chipset DG834Gv2, the GT has been the only other router I've tried that has synced at max 8128 kbps on my line.

Have tried O2 supplied router (a Thomson TG858v7) and Netgear DG834Gv5 (Conexant chipset), and the max they would do was around 7300kbps on a good day.

If you don't fancy paying a large amount, look for a Sky branded version and the reflash it to Netgear supplied firmware, or one mentioned on this thread.

Im mainly looking for one that allows me to have multiple SSIDs. Each with their own, different, security settings/protocols, and be able to VLAN each 'network' so they exist entirely seperate to one another.
Ive seen a few that do it in the professional space, but a few hundred £ for that i dont plan on spending that much. lol.

The WRT54GL can do that. Wireless VLANs, each with a separate SSID. Pass on whether you can have separate settings et al though, you'd certainly presume so.
