E51 and E71 have different USB cables. Drives you mad.
Also why do they not make all phones charge from USB for the love of mike.
Also use a standard 3.5 audio check.

Like I said, all *new* handsets - E51 is almost two years old. USB charging is now a standard feature on all handsets developed since the N85.

My Touch HD is micro USB charged which is good as everyone has one of these cables and I can put some juice into it wherever I am, very handy! .
