I know that there were a few others who went to the gig, what did you think of it?

I was looking forward to seeing The Answer, but was pretty disappointed with the sound, which came across as very muffled and the vocals barely audible.

I was very disappointed to see that Thin Lizzy had to pull out, because of Tommy Aldridge's injury and were replaced with The Subways, whom I know nothing about and weren't very impressed with.

AC/DC themselves made a great start, with an intro video and the set looked quite impressive and the sound wasn't bad either.

They played all the favourites, with a sprinkling of some off the Black Ice album and it was a good gig, although something seemed a little off for me and I can't quite put my finger on it and at the end, it was a quick thanks and off they went.

Overall, the support were write offs for me, but we were all there to see AC/DC and they put on a good show.

Was excellent, wasn't too fussed with the opening bands, and got a bit bored through Angus' 'solo', but other than that everything was great, except for trying to get out of there in the car, lol.

The sound was horrid, massive echo. I suppose that's what you get when you put a band into a football stadium, my first stadium gig and most likely my last. Once you got used to the echo it was good. Missed the Answer (thank god) and saw The Subways, totally lost on the stage they are a decent indie/pop small venue/festival (in tent) band. Thin Lizzy woulda been great, saw them in December at Hard Rock Hell.

I saw AC/DC at the 2nd night of the o2 and at Wembley other day. The sound was far superior at the o2 but Wembley seemed to have a much better vibe and the band seemed more into it. I was right at the front at the o2, so I went back abit for Wembley to take in the whole show with the videos/props/pyros. There seemed to be a few camera/tape problems at the Wembley gig compared to the o2. But taking in the whole thing and having a crowd in front was sweet. I'm glad I did both really great gig/experience and it might be the last time in a while we see AC/DC back in the UK.

got there about 15 mins before ac/dc were on, thought it was a cracking gig tbh. Sounded fine where we were.

Wasn't fussed on seeing any of the support acts, esp hin lizzy as saw them last year and whilst ok not exactly wembley material imho anymore.

But didn't know that Subways were there instead, I like them but maybe not best suited to that gig....

Got there AT FOUR ON MY OWN since my friend had to pull out. Decided to have a pint or two to put me into the mood.

Fouuuuur hours later I was stone cold sober and not much enjoying the Answer (who?) or the Subways (train wreck, the only time they got rises out of the crowd was when the dude shouted "how ******* excited are you to see ACDC??" repeatedly. Not a bad group, just not the right crowd.

ACDC blew me away, totally worth standing there for hours. To be doing so well after so long, they are still awesome.

Camera was a writeoff though, wasn't working on the day. Anywhere I might get pics?

Some nice unofficial vids here

Quick question, the entire stadium was clapping in time to one song, I can't for the life of me remember which one it was... Any help?

It's worth giving that answer another shot.. saw them at the NEC (ADDC)/Download and i think they've been consistently fantastic.. good to see good rock from this side of the pond..

I saw them at the LG arena. It was a fantastic gig :D

Wembley has always been a dodgy place for concerts though. One of my mates saw Muse there. He said he wasnt impressed. He said it just sounds muffled and lots of echo.

Its why I wanna avoid going to Wembley.... unless for maybe a football match :)

See from where we were sitting the sound was good imho, wasn't echoey to me.

Been to some venues where one band have sounded great, then the next gig there they've sounded awful :/

Where were you? I was standing on the left side just off the centre about halfway back. Sound was horribly echoy. Its the only thing that disappointed me with the gig.

Check the link posted above to some of the youtube videos, I was sat where that guy was pretty much! Second level, right hand side.

I was there and absolutely loved it, better than the times I've seen Iron Maiden and I never thought I'd say that. I was stood on the pitch about halfway back - I'm only 5ft 8 so maybe not the best place in retrospect, but I wouldn't have changed it for the world.

I know what people are talking about with it being a bit echo-ey, but it wasn't so bad that it ruined anything. The atmosphere was amazing and the whole band seemed really up for it. Angus was on great form, and for a man his age Brian can run fast up to that bell for Hells Bells!

I was gutted for The Answer being put on first. I saw most of their set however and really enjoyed it. Might have to make a purchase or two! The Subways...well, don't get me started really. The front man was a prize idiot, they were lost in a stadium and it was only because of the good crowd that they weren't bottled off. The cheer when they said it was their last song said it all really.

Even the atmosphere walking back to the Tube station was fantastic. Had a good laugh listening to the banter between the Police and the fans, especially when a few cheeky ones thought they could jump past. I was laughing all the way home :)

Have to say I was also very impressed with Wembley itself, they finished at about 22:30 and within about 15 minutes we were already in the car leaving the car park.

Took a little while to make it to the M4 as Hanger lane was pretty busy, but then did M4 > Bovey Tracy in very good time ;)
