just wondering how early you had to go and how long the queues are looking?

I'm only really interested in the ground tickets not the show court tickets. I can get there pretty early on the day.

I went last Thursday, arrived at 8 and was in the ground about 11:45. Not sure if the numbers drop off in the second week as there aren't as many big names out on the non-show courts though. I imagine if Murray is playing it will be pretty busy.

From my post on the Wimbledon thread

Hey guys. I just got back and I thought I'd give you an update. (especially for those who want to go and haven't got tickets)

I left my home and caught the train to kings cross at 07.44

Arrived at Wimbledon at 9.15 and was put on a field with 13,000 people on it, i was there early and number 10,388 :(

Queded until 13.30 to get in and watched a few games including some of Gonzalez and Stoop

At 15.30 we queued up for re-sale ticket and 2 and a half hours later i was in center court at the start of the second set for Murray.

So all in all 6 and a half hours queuing.

I paid £20 for a ground pass and £5 for the center court re-sale ticket

went on the first day. arrived at 6:30am, got in by 10:45, then watched federer warm up for 30 minutes. Got some good matches in, including Lopez, Haas, Soderling, Verdasco.
