Yeah same, I really wish they'd take classic platformers like Sonic and go back to 2D.

Sonic in 3D just doesn't feel right at all...

For some odd reason when I first looked at that sonic picture, my brain thought that the rings looked like giant floating Sugar Puffs :confused:

Awesome pictures though, why somebody doesn't make some 2D games which have the graphical quality of these, I don't know

3D is overrated!

I couldn't agree more. Playing Castle Crashers through recently has given me some fresh perspective. It's one of the prettiest games I've seen in so so long and I've had more fun on it than any game in the last ten years. Yet, it's using the concept of games such as Streets of Rage or Golden Axe.

If Sonic 1, 2, 3 and Knuckles were all given a graphical overhaul whilst still remaining 2D, there would be endless sales.
