My network places

Just noticed in there i have my two on board Ethernet ports (local area connection 1 and 2) 2 being disabled.

but i also have a 1394 connection (1394 Net Adapter), which it says is connected and firewalled

my question is, what the hell is it.? can i disable it.? :confused:

firewire - disable unless you use it

Oh and My local area connection 1 has the wee "sharing hand" under it, should that be there.?

you have internet connection sharing on under properties and advanced

I never turned this on :confused:

under the advanced tab all i get is, windows firewall settings, and Network setup wizard. :rolleyes:

it just allows other pcs to connect to the internet via your pc so shouldnt be an issue left on.

Ah ok, i just remembered like about 6 months ago my xbox connected to the internet through the bridged lan 1 and 2 ports.
