Ive deleted my bosses email :O Can i get it back...

Right guys,

My boss had an email which was really important in Microsoft Office Outlook. It was accidentally deleted, and then further deleted from the deleted items folder.

Is there any way of retrieving this deleted email?

If it's in Exchange, click on the Deleted Items folder, then go Tools -> Recover Deleted Items. It should bring up a list and you can recover them back to Deleted Items and move them wherever.
 
Go to deleted items in Outlook.
Tools --> Recover deleted items.

They may be in there but it depends on your IT teams policy on recovery space.

You don't have to have this feature enabled, it is not useless.

Yep. Maybe the deleted mail will appear by next week. This makes the feature pointless as someone who has deleted a deleted item usually wants it straight away (like the thread starter who deleted his bosses email)

We do have daily backups but this isnt an instant fix either
 
depends what your policy is.. we retain deleted items for 14 days after they leave the trash in outlook. they should appear in there straight away though.
