Ive deleted my bosses email :O Can i get it back...

Interesting, I created a folder and moved an email from my inbox into it. Deleted it then emptied deleted items. Then went to recover and it recovers the folder and the email inside it. However if i delete an email straight from the inbox then select the inbox and do to recover deleted items, it is not there.

Maybe a different policy on folders to the inbox?
 
Does your boss have an OWA account? Can you get to it? Is it exchange?

If so, right click on the deleted items and select "OPEN IN NEW WINDOW/TAB" so you can view the "bin" but somewhere else.

The URL will read something similar to:

http://server/exchange/User/DeletedItems/?Cmd=contents

Change that URL to:

http://server/exchange/User/DeletedItems/?Cmd=SHOWDELETED

(Change the word CONTENTS to SHOWDELETED)


This will show you anything deleted from within the Exchange within 30 days IIRC and you can restore it.
 
One of the first things we learnt at Cobweb IIRC ^ p

Still, didn't stop me from deleting a clients outlook profile with POP account data in there by accident!
