Team17 has said it's timed exclusive to the Xbox so it may turn up on PSN at some point in the future similar to the orignal XBLA Worms (of which an exhanced version was released on PSN a couple of months ago).

No one can tell you as they're all competitors. Try checking the deals website, there was one posted today for MS points.

iirc Ranked is 1 v 1 but player matches can be up to 4 teams

So how are people finding this? We played through the first one on Arcade and thought it was reasonable. A good game to listen to music and drink beers to, plus, the achievements were ultra easy...

I really liked the PC releases of Worms, is this more in the vein of those?
