max payne 2 any good?

Not as good as MP but still a very good game. Highly polished.
Just make sure you explore every nook and cranny to appreciate some of the humour and in-jokes rather than just rushing through it as most people seem to have done (saying it's a very short game).

I really enjoyed both of the Max Payne games, excellent stories and good gameplay (if you're into the whole 'noir hard boiled detective' style movies etc, which I am 
)

PC is by far the best platform to play MP on. If you liked the first game you'll love the second; Max is more badass, better action, better gfx and a proper physics engine with ragdoll make wasting the bad guys so much more satisfying.
