As well as Merc parts prices. Chysler owner here, but not a 300.

Problem is that the E Class which underpins the 300C is probably one of the worst cars Mercedes ever built. It's the 95-02 under there, not the better 02- model.

Not sure if the 300Cs over here are better than the ones in the US but have driven US hire car ones and they are poor

My missus has mentioned she like the Crossfire though

They are the same pretty much. We had a Dodge Charger for a day until the A/C packed in a few weeks ago (which shares the same platform) and it was absolutely dire.

I like how people call the Boxster a poor man's 911. You are anything but poor if you are driving around in a new Boxster.

Err.. read some other comments in this thread, a few people mention the Bentley look that people give it... which is the same as what you are saying essentially.
