What do you prefer Salad Cream,Mayo or both?

Got into a heated discussion with my mates tonight about this one.

Strange i know but why do people say they taste the same when they don't!

I hate mayo but love Salad cream.Theres nothing better than salad cream on ya mash

mmmmmmmm yummieeeee.

I like both, but prefer mayonnaise over salad cream.

Mayonnaise and chips is the best.

Can't stand either, does my nut in that most ready made sandwiches come drowned in either one or the other. If I'm really desperate I'd have mayo over salad cream. Not as sharp.

On a sort of related topic, I'm astounded at the amount of my friends who hate tomatoes, they throw them out of their sandwiches. Is this common or have I got weird friends? :confused:

On their 'own' I dislike both... I like egg mayo sarnies, or some mayo on those rustlers chicken burgers, on a burger... But that's about it.

If I were to dip my finger in one and lick it off, I would probably puke...

edit: to the tomato lover... I can't stand them, full stop. I like BLT's without the T. Tomato crisps, yummy. Tomato on chips, sure... But not real tomato.

Nah mate they are weird like my friends who think Salad cream and mayo taste the same :confused:

I make my own mayo and I prefer that to salad cream. I can also easily turn it into tartre sauce or thousand island dressing.

I used to pick tomatoes out of sandwiches etc, but then i got over it, also had a friend who had an irrational fear of tomatoes, to the point he wouldn't eat from subway cause all the other food was too close to the tomatoes, we tested this all by smearing his door handle with ketchup, which caused him to have a mild panic attack :S

Salad Cream for me, it has a kick, mayo is bland I grew up on light salad cream and still use it today on tuna and chicken.
