Best ever Pokemon game?

for me its Leaf Green on the GBA (Micro)

It's basically all of red/blue, silver/gold and a few extra's i think

eitherway its got me as addicted as Blue did originally :)
 
blue, was another in the 'a bit to old for the game' catagory but it was still fun.

i recently played through all the gyms on fire red but didnt get into it enough to battle and level up enough to beat the last few to complete it, i got a lot of abuse of my now wife for playing it too... brings back some good memories though

also tried ruby but i didnt know many of the pokemon... they need to make a game where ALL pokemon are collectable including the original 150 (151 inc Mew)
 
If you google for it, people found a glitch a few years back that allows you to catch Mew in the wild. Similar to that MissingNo stuff, where you have to fly away from one spot and go search somewhere else.

I remember searching for stuff like that on 56k dial-up. One i remember was an area at the very top of the game world where it looked like you could get through, like a path, but you couldn't. Everyone thought it lead to the Orange Islands or Johto. Was awesome.

Also there were loads of rumours going around that if you used Surf and went to the front of the cruise ship and used Strength, you could push the boat and Mew would appear. Damn those were the days.
 
i used a hack last year on my old GBA versions to give me the relevant ticket... i have mew all caught up bow...

without the ticket its impossible AFAIK and given that the event happened like 5 years ago, good luck ith the ticket!

It was stored in a sealed box and somehow it got corrupted... I even tried blowing on the cartridge...

All 150 Pokemon and 120 hours or so of playtime (I think) on red. Ah well. Guess I'll have to replay it :D

Haha years ago when i was 11 me and my mate tried to do that link cable glitch where you could dupe pokemon and he was trying to dupe over his Mew, but it didn't work and it corrupted my data! I only remember because i started crying and punching the door!
 
I dread to think how many hours i put into my pokémon red save. I maxed the game clock out at 255 hours and played a lot more after that lol

One internet nerd cookie for anyone who can tell me why it stops at 255 hours :p lol


I used to really annoy my friends on it with my none mewtwo team. I'm not sure what the technical game term is but it wasn't a direct assault heavy hitting team (other than my snorlax) mostly played tactically :D
 
So are the new DS/PSP ones not as good as old ones? :p
