Watches, what are OCUK members wearing?

I've got a Charles Rennie Mac. one given to me as a gift from my aunt. Was a while ago when she was manager of a designer jewlers shop somewhere down south. Don't wear it much as I do believe it's worth a couple hundred and makes me feel a bit uncomfortable with it... Only wear it to special events.

Very similar to this except it's gold and the face is better designed too

Present to myself today, starting to lose count of watch collection now. It's a big watch, but I think the exposed movement looks class, without being OTT and obscuring the time.

I have owned both a PO and a Sub and love both of them , do prefer the more substantial feel of the PO though

Hey, i turn the big two one in a month or two and as such my parents have said they will get me a nice watch for it. I was thinking around £400 (I am going to pay half towards it) but i am unsure what to go for. I REALLY like the look of omega watches but they are out of my price range. What could you suggest? (I have skinny wrists - if that makes a difference)

I was in the exact same position as yours a week ago and with skinny wrist as well :D, i went and ordered Seiko.

Have a look Seiko range :)

I rarely bother with watches until recently, I was given a Silver Lorus Quartz watch, nothing much too look at, but, it belonged to my late Grandfather.......

:)

Rolex Sea Dweller purchased on Saturday :D

Did you get it new? if so you did well, there are very few about now, Rolex have not officially declared it as discontinued but it appears that is the case

Prices seem to be heading upwards because of ths too

I'd look at Oris for that money, if you're into the whole diver thing.

Yes, it was new. I tried to get one in London last week. There were no new ones & secondhand they were £4k+.

I found one at a jeweller in Stratford-upon-Avon & paid RRP rather than the £5k that the dealers on the net want for the new ones they have.

Very happy.
