i know which fans to choose for case fans, but when it comes to choosing a fan for a rad i am stuck, because the CFM means a lot, but it is more important to get a fan with good air pressure, i will be getting some shrouds aswell.

the short list

Scythe Kaze Jyuni 1200RPM Slipstream
Scythe Kaze Jyuni 1900RPM Slip Stream
Scythe S-FLEX 1600RPM Ultra Quiet
Xilence XPF120R Red Wing
Noctua NF-P12 Vortex-Control
Enermax Magma
Feser Triebwerk 120 - Low Speed - TK121LS

the general direction that most people point to is Scythe S-FLEX 1600RPM Ultra Quiet, is this because it has good air pressure? because i dont think that 28dba is silent

Any thoughts at all are most welcome, as i know nothing about radiator fans

I was gonna say S-Flex is good for use on rads. You can always get a fan controller to slow them down a bit and get them a bit quieter if you wanted.

Im using some Enermax Clusters on mine and they seem to be doing pretty good. I think the Magmas are a bit more powerful too so they may also prove pretty good :)

Yes i agree

but i just cant find anywhere that will tell me the air pressure of the fans?

Cheers for that, i dont really know how to read charts like that, and there is no real conclusion

No conclusion is a good thing IMO. As for the charts, just look for a fan which gives good cfm through the radiator vs noise. Some of the quieter fans top out at very low cfm through the radiator eg not good air pressure.

you know what i was doing i was taking the meter on the left as being the DBA not air presure, and all the rads/fans are on pulling air through the rad rather than pushing the air through
