been looking around and cam across this guide to overclocking the 920 to 4.2mhz, if you read it till the bottom he managed to overclock it to 4.2mhz and after 1 hour stress test his temps only reached 53c whic is pritty good when everybody else is getting 80c+ after overclocking

cant wait as iam getting the same set up, but was going to go with the titan fenrir but he used the ultra 120

nice

a very good clear guide but his temps are very low at the overclock hes lucky to have those temps at that clock...

[edit] he also uses vcore 1.4volts a bit high imo

what would you rather have tho,

noisey pc = excellent overcloking/ excellent temps

quiet pc = good overcloking/high temps

Id rather have water, quieter and better overclocking than air.

If you're asking what would be ideal, I want to run at just above dew point via peltiers, while making less noise than my current watercooled system.

megahalems

deltas in push pull

that is my idea of aircooling

anything else has to involve the word 'thermochill'

how do you think air con works then?

have a look at phase cooling, i think thats roughly where that idea leads

push pull deltas with the computer in a different room can't be that bad :)

I could hear the rumble of my 1200rpm fans + hdds in the bathroom and in the kitchen downstairs, surprised those deltas don't fly around when not attached to a case.
