have you tried airasia.com not sure if they fly direct, may have to get a connecting flight.

Yeah extra £9 to connect to Bangkok... £169 total... take some food and your DS

The pound was down the toilet at the time, and no flexibilty on the flights as I'm off to a friends wedding. With the exchange rate changes since you might get £800ish for a decent airline with less stops.

We got the best deal available at the time - spent a good few days on the internet and with a phone welded to my ear.

/Edit : Looks like the same flights are now about £760. Some you win, some you lose...

I searched kayak.co.uk, and 1 way seems about 385, but stupid stop over times !. BUT, if you buy a return ticket, cost is 377, only waiting 2 hours or so in mumbai
