New/2nd hand 20" or 22"

Bit out of the loop with regard to screens. I love my laptop dearly but when I'm at my desk I'd love a bit of extra screen space, so I'm looking for a second monitor. An important point is that I only want one for a year because after next year I'll be moving around a lot and will only really use my laptop. This made me think buying second hand would be best and then I won't loose too much when I sell it on this time next year.

I'm looking at the 20" or 22" variety. I'll be using it for the general stuff, word processing and some EVE-Online. I've previously owned the NEC 20WGX2 and it was a great screen, but the Dell monitors look so nice (my dad has them) and I'm quite keen on that look. The 2209WA seems to be getting brilliant praise but I can see me loosing out when I sell it in a years time. Are there any old Dell 20" models that don't use TN that would be worth a look?

Thanks for the suggestion but I'm trying to avoid TN panels. Got to love wikipedia, here are the appropriate non-TN 20" and 22" dells.

I have the 2209WA and its great. The colours are as good as my Dell 2408WFP and it plays games and movies brilliantly. A generally awesome monitor.
