middle of the night giant moth!

I'd prefer that to a moth. Moths are creepy. Living things should not turn into dust when crushed!

We had a bat in our room a few months back.

Worst part was waking up and watching it circle around the room, then only to disappear without a trace.

Cue me looking behind every piece of furniture at 2am trying to find where it had landed. Turned out it was hanging on my dressing gown on the door hook :o Opened all the windows, and it would not leave of it's own accord. Ended up smashing it was a towel and scooping it outside while it was stunned.

Pretty scary hearing it flying around in the night, so I can imagine your shock when you awoke! :D

Haha why do I imagine the cat jumped in at the end and scared you on purpose almost mocking the night of terror you feel you just had.

"RARGH IM A BAT... you idiot"

Cats are that obnoxious right?

Doesn't seem attracted to your neck does it? :)

Give the RSPCA a quick buzz if you still haven't managed to get rid of it. I'm sure they'll give you advice... What ever you do don't hurt the little fella!

See plenty of bats around here, when I was at primary school one had decide it would sleep outside during the day hanging from a ledge near a classroom door, cute little things.

Had to be done... :D

Why do people freak out at things that are completely harmless?

Anyway, just to annoy you big girls:

Edit: Yes, I know it's a bat. But they were scared when they thought it was a moth.

pretty sure its gone now, when i let it out it was hammering it down so i wasnt goin to the bottom of the garden naked to set it free, it scuttled off quite quick when i put it on the path, theres no sign or anything this morning around the door or in the garden.
