So I used that Driclor stuff for the fist time last night before going to bed. Holy great mother of god! I ended up wanting to stab my armpits with tweezers 5mins afterwards!

The stuff is amazing, and really does work well but - It hurts, it hurts! :o

It does sting (hurt! Especially if it's the first few times you're using it). Don't forget to wash it off in the morning too :p stick with it though, as it's worth it imo. Might want to give it a rest for a few days though, or put a bit less on - still use it now myself, only wish I'd discovered it sooner.

Driclor is awesome, but yes, it hurts like ****.

I used it for a few nights last week and they were extremely uncomfortable, the final night I ended up showering at 3am to wash it off as it hurt and itched so much. Just those few nights though will keep me sorted for a good 2-4 weeks though :)

Amazing stuff :D

I first heard about it here on OCUK so thought I'd give it a shot and it's been great even though I've just begun using it. Trust me when I say that it feels like someone has applied Domestos to your armpits whilst you're in the middle of a figure of four leglock applied by Ric Flair.

Scrap that I just noticed Nivea for men does have Aluminium Chlorohydrate but doesn't cause the pits of fire..

I recommend Odaban.

I was looking for a more powerful antiperspirant last time the topic came up on OcUK and was put off Driclor by the "pits on fire" reviews. Odaban was also suggested as fire free alternative. It contains the same 20% Aluminium Chloride active ingredient but has a slightly different formulation.

Been using it a few months now and am amazed how effective it is. Only time I've had the slightest of dampness was after a week without reapplication.

I've also never had any burning from applying the stuff.

Cant be that good if it blocks your sweat pours?

I find if i use anti-persperant for to long i get funny lumps under my pits, if i stop they go away.

Where can you get a hold of this stuff of the shelf?
Driclor is available at lots of chemists, maybe boots?

Odaban only seems to be available online, I got mine from expresschemist. You can also go into many chemists and ask them to order it for you.

At my current usage it looks like a bottle should last me more than 6 months.
