ARRRRRRGHHHH Armpits are on teh fires!

If you work out more (jog, play a sport or work out generally) then surely the excess sweat is filtered out naturally this way so in an everyday normal situation you would not be sweating?

No pain, no gain.

And OP, the first time you use it is always the worst. I only have to use it about twice a month now, and it doesn't even hurt.

I sweat quite badly yet im very sporty. No real reason for me personally but I believe anxiety sweating works differently too.

As for those buying these products, do you really think blocking your sweat pores is a great idea? Surely you cant think its remotely healthy having metal in your body?

If the main problem is your sweat stinks, improve your diet and drink lots more water, 4L+

Obviously thats the point, but blocking sweat pours isn't good, i certainly wouldn't be doing it all the time,

Sorry the  was a bit harsh. Blocking some sweat pours really is no issue though. You just sweat it out elsewhere, and evenly so you don't even notice it.

May I suggest losing some weight before resorting to this. ;)

Skinny people can sweat excessively too!

I for one am just glad I am not a smelly ****! I may sweat but I don't smell (bad) :)

I am glad to see I am not the only one that suffers from bad sweating. Mine is down to anxiety and worsens when i am put in a situation, say having to present something to a group. I would like to try some of these products though not to keen on the sound of the effects of the Driclor. Is the Odaban stuff as effective?

So I used that Driclor stuff for the fist time last night before going to bed. Holy great mother of god! I ended up wanting to stab my armpits with tweezers 5mins afterwards!

The stuff is amazing, and really does work well but - It hurts, it hurts! :o

Being there, it gets easier. I've used it for 3 years now and I don't feel it anymore.

Edit - and I'm not overweight, I'm underweight, I'm not even on the BMI scale.

This product sounds like hell

I can't get on with ANY Anti-Perspirant that contains the Aluminium (I've only ever tried ones containing this.. as its the only way to stop sweat IIRC)

If makes my armpits feel clogged up and generally uncomfortable, then when I go for a shower the soap feels like its having no effect on removing the anti-perp and leaves me with an unclean uncomfortable feeling.

I just use regular Lynx now..

Regular Lynx won't stop you sweating though.

After the night of pain and washing it off your armpits won't feel clogged or anything, and you can wear your normal deodrant (might sting on first use) but otherwise you'll feel fresh and won't have that nasty damp feeling either :)

If you use any AP then spray it near an open window/door or outside because the white powder WILL settle on any surface and especially near a PC your fans and grilles will clog up and smell "soapy" after a few days.

I accidentally bought AP once thinking it was normal deodorant so didn't want to let money go to waste and used it only to find my PC case and shelves etc filled with a nice layer of white powder that never goes away....

Maybe you could try cutting up a Scotch Bonnet chilli and rubbing on your bell end, it should take you mind of your armpits stinging.

It only stung me on the first night I ever used it, after that there's been no problem with re-applying.
