ARRRRRRGHHHH Armpits are on teh fires!

Sorry I don't understand. Well, either way, I will keep using it!

I am always of the rather naive view that if it was dangerous it wouldn't be sold over the counter :p
er.. what's not to understand? The pours will be blocked, i.e. literally blocked, not 'stopped', not 'turned off', but literally plugged with what ever is in these products. The glands within those pours, i.e. the sweat glands, will still produce sweat... this sweat will have no where to go, hence the forming of spots.

I use driclor quite a bit. I never get any spots.

Must be doing something wrong. But its great stuff.

Apparently...
It works by blocking the sweat glands. This causes the pressure of fluid within the sweat glands to rise to the point where it shuts off sweat production.

This thread has made me laugh.

Day 3 of my Driclor experience here at work and I aren't sweating one bit and I normally sweat a lot even though I aren't overweight nor fat. Hell I don't wear a lot of white shirts put it that way but am today! :o

As for long term usage, I have to say I am a bit nervous about that. Blocking sweat glads on a permanent basis just can't be a good thing and I don't want to spontaneously explode either!

Getting sick of using some AP's now for the very reason Mrk mentioned above. My Coolermaster Stacker pc rig is just caked in a layer of dust, and since I've just bought a spanking new hdtv...

Ah well, another night of PAIN in store tonight I guess!

After a certain amount of time you don't need to use it every night. Like i said before, you can start doing it once every 2 weeks and it still works wonders.

You guys not heard of anti-persperant?
Let me see, this thread is about Driclor. Driclor is *drum roll* an antiperspirant.

I mean I'm not sporty but when I sweat on the underground it ain't from the arm pit.
Maybe you use an antiperspirant?

Most antiperspirants contain <5% Aluminium Chloride as their active ingredient. Driclor contains 20% and is for those who find standard antiperspirants ineffective. Have a read about hyperhydrosis.

Can't blocking the pours lead to complications like cancer too?

That was my initial thoughts, as i have heard that in women this can travel round to chesticle cancer. Sorry dont have a source on that tho.

Im just worried as i have Moobs man breests

well it's fully clinically tested and a prescribed medicine with no major side effects listed iirc. it was previously a restricted medicine which was only available behind pharmacy counters although it may have been reclassified now. To be honest i don't think there is any particular cause to worry about health concerns when using it, it's not an untested product.

your putting it on wrong if its stinging that badly

you only need the smallest amount possible and skin needs to 100% dry

i dont think it does any harm either. doctors recommend it pretty much straight away

The people that think BMI is effective? Doctors are far from flawless, they dont know everything.
