Recently been thinking about mixing my own songs, nothing too fancy though. Just removing voice from one track and adding it to another etc but i'm not sure what software i could use to do this. Doesn't have to be free software but then again don't want to spend several hundred quid either :o

Any suggestions pls ?

Start with Audacity. It is free, but certainly good enough for what you want. It's fairly easy and will give you a good introduction to music software.

You won't find any software to do this I'm afraid. You would need to have the vocals alone before you could put them over something else. Software can't simply extract solely the vocals from a track. There's a variety of programs available to create music however you may need to refine exactly how you want to construct music and then find a package that suits that.
