Battlefield 1943

i had ago thismorning around 9am , but then got kicked off! not been able to get on since! playing worms 2 armageddon :) its win
 
from playing the pc version ages ago when released im pleased with this remake although i do wonder what the plans are with content and if they can add new vehicles and classes as well as maps. I always remember the flying fortress plane allowing up to 4 -5 players in it haha
 
I believe the devs said based on popularity they'd consider releasing additional maps. I cant imagine them doing extra classes and weapon unlocks, even at a hefty MS points price

I've managed to connect 3 times today...only took 1-3 tries each time....much better then last night

Tut. This is no fair. If you go and activate the Air Raid sequence, some clever dick can stand by the bunker entrance thing and as soon as the raid is over, melee you in the back. What a load of rubbish. :(
 
may be a stupid question... can you actually play online in the trial? I keep pressing quick match but it just says failed to connect to EA online.
 
I swear to god some guys have found a way to use KB/Mouse with this on the 360 lol, there was a grp of players on the server i just got connected to racking up 40+ Kills a game with ease, and less then 3 deaths as inf.
Seems impossible, their reactions were out of this world for a controler.

Possibly those lame people that bought the keyboard + mouse adapters.

Not sure how good it is, but you're right, just as bad as cheating in my eyes.
 
Has anyone seen a list of how the scoring system works on their travels, e.g. 30 pts for capture, 10 pts for kill. I'm agog at how some people are only getting 10 kills but 300 points.

Battlefield has always been about team assist points, 10 kills makes it 100 points, they only need to have captured a further 6 cap points or so to make the total. Not sure if you get kill assist points but all the old PC battlefields certainly did.

You get +5 for kill assists, +30 for capturing a flag +10 for helping capture a flag, +5 for destroying an enemy vehicle, and a few more I can't remember.
