This made me laugh after googling "What is up with Jermaine Jackson's hair?"

That's why I'm liking Linux :D

We (the GF and I) were watching the Jackson memorial last night, and were once again reminded how odd Jermaine Jackson's hair is.

So I googled, and the 3rd result was that rogue anti-malware site.

Black hat SEO techniques :(

IP is correct, its a common script used to serve up website languages based on the IP lookup (if it reverts back to UK, Aus or US it'll be in English, if in France or Senegal, it'll be translated to French and so on).
It's fairly standard code and is easily accessible to get.

Yashiro - yeah, that's what we think it is too! :D

Um, yeah. I actually meant - do you really want to be advertising your ip address on a forum?

This is absolutely awesome, best I came across was a pop up saying I got a trojan, but never a "full scale" immitation.

Hardly advertising it though is it? ;)

To be honest though, Im not fussed.
It'd only be someone on the forums physically reading it, I've got my Router firewall (doesnt respond to Ping requests, all ports are locked down, has Port scan and DOS attempt detection (Syn_flood)), software firewall, anti-malware and rootkit detectors on the 'doze PCs, Linux on the others.

Besides, the IP changes routinely, and there's nothing on my PCs that I have to hide.

:)

If someone wanted to DDOS me, then go for it. I'll lose internet connection, unplug the router, plug it back in, get a new IP address and carry on as if nothing happened.
