Before I get mocked, I have the Antec Skeleton (with Mesh Kit) and I love it, I intend buying a Phenom II 955 to mount on my Asus M3n78Pro, my question is, what aftermarket cooler would you guys suggest for this build (going to check 1. No cooler {AIR COOLED} 2. stock cooler temps and 3. Aftermarket cooler temps) bearing in mind the space limitations, any advice is appreciated. Cheers.

Am i misunderstanding or are u actually planning on trying the system with no CPU cooler installed ?
This would be a bad move.

Ive heard that most of the large coolers do not fit in the Skeleton, if i were you I would take some careful measurments and compare with manufacturer dimensions for any given cooler.

Yeah for goodness sake use at least stock cooler, you need the metal to metal heat transfer first for it to ever be cooled fast enough

Think there was a pretty epic misunderstanding of what air cooled means here lol.

Im still a tad puzzled as to why the data for a CPU and no cooler would hold any relevance anyway.

That isn't what air cooled means :p

A modern CPU will just shut down without a heatsink attached. An older CPU will get very hot, very quickly - about 370c to be precise!

Any cooler with a height of less than 156mm will fit under the big boy fan with modifications to the colwing, failing that, if you don't fancy a bit of dremmel action, then the Zalman CNPS9500A LED will fit with no modifications what-so-ever.

The great thing about this case is that you don't need a top end cooler to make it sing. I was running a Q6600 with this "inferior" cooler at 3.6 with no probs at all and nice low temps.
