Torchwood - Dr Who Spin off

I was almost disappointed when i found out it was over only 5 nights but i have to say so far its the best Torchwood they have done.
 
Imagine the hammering iplayer is going to get on friday night when everybody wants to watch the story start to finish :D
 
watched 1 and 2 superb stuff, just watched 3 and boy its starting to drag on now.

Still by far the best series yet - so much better than doctor who.

heres hoping tonights and fridays really kick off.

yea its been good but i agree the most recent episode progressed to slow lets hope the last 2 are a little better.

torchwood in all was pretty crap though :P drwho might get a bit more serious when it starts with less clown episodes now the other guy took over and the kiddie bloke who is desperate for drwho to apeal to cbbc watchers is gone
 
Caught this the other night, I really like Dr Who but Torchwood is just another level. Great episodes so far, really looking forward to tonights (on now!) and tomorrows final
 
I much prefer Torchwood to Doctor Who, they certainly have there work cut out to top this with the new Doctor Who.

the proper series of torchwood were pretty crap though, i like the mini series much more seems better without the annoying woman and that bloke
 
I liked all the Torchwood's its far better for me, i wonder if this is going to be the end of torchwood though.

I was thinking the same, the ending was very dramatic! It all looks very bleak...
Then again, in a typical Dr Who/Torchwood episode they manage to turn it all round in the last 10 minutes and get home for tea
 
I just have a really strong feeling 'the doctor' will make an appearance. It seems so hopeless for Torchwood at the moment...

We'll see, loving it so far, shame its only commissioned for 5 episodes though!

That would be a good way to wet people appetites for the Doctor Who specials later this year.

Loving this mini series of Torchwood. Though it's a shame they killed of Ianto off.

This mini series this week is the first time I've seen Torchwood and it's so much better than Doctor Who. This may surprise some people but Doctor Who is rubbish.

At least in this weeks Torchwood there hasn't been any hammy acting, really bad dialogue or creatures that wouldn't scare Butters as there is in Doctor Who.

I could have done without the men kissing though :D

yea, its been to good and fairly serious for them to ruin it with some drwho cheese fest ending.

maybe he can turn up on christmas day have a duel with some alien , lose an arm , regrow and arm and have a all lived happily ever after cheesey ending.


be glad when Russell t davies is gone tbh, without looking i can only guess moffat wrote these torchwood episodes if anyone did out of those 2
