Battlefield 2 and Windows 7

Hi,

Sorry about the thread title, I'm a bit tired!

I am seriously tempted by Battlefront 2 on Steam as its £12.99 and still a good laugh online (my bro stilll plays on his XP machine).

I have Windows 7 build 7100 (soon to go to 7232), does anyone know if Battlefront 2 will work with this OS?

It will work fine on 7100, but you may have punk buster issues with 7232.

i decided to try and run battlefront 2 on 7100 build and i'm having some problems with it crashing before i get into a game. i can get onto the main screen but when trying to start a mission or an online match the game crashes :confused:

any one got ideas?

Ah brutal, I couldn't get it to work in 7100, and have just updated to 7232. Can anyone confirm if they have it working or not?

I can't get BF2 to install Properly on Win7 Build 7100.

Tried twice now and it still refuses to patch the game

I had ctd issues on 7100 as soon as I launched it, but it works fine for my freind. On 7232 and not having any issues really. PB is working fine.
