The other lad I do it with is just checking his availability (as its his van :D)

In terms of equipment we don't have much, but enough to make it fun;

- Harness & 2 tonne van for pulling / pushing
- Concrete lintells for farmers walk (we are trying to get a welder to make us up some steel ones but hes not replying atm)
- Big tyre (its not huge, but repping with it works well)
- Kegs for tossing
- Hopefully by 8th/9th of August we should have a pulling sled

We train on an industrial park road in Dunstable, Bedfordshire so its nice and quiet.

The stronger guys (Oddjob, FF, Morba) would probably murder some of the equipment so they will have to rep out more :D

Let me know if you fancy it

Either day if fine for me. Is there a place near by where we can jack ourselves up on lots of grub after?! :D

Now you've put me under pressure by calling me a "strong" guy :o

You got an idea on weights of the tyre, lintells and kegs?

This should be a good laugh - I'll bring my camera for the OcUK boys :D

We reckon the tyre is only about 90kg, so we usually do 5-6 sets of 10 flips with as much explosive power as possible.

Concrete lintells are ~55kg so again not the heaviest but still quite tough, but timing each other as quickly as possible over a distance makes it good fun. IF we get the steel's in time the guy said he would do them at 75-80kg.

Kegs, well one of them will be empty for warming up and the other will be half full of concrete by the time this comes round :D

Theres a few places around, nothing particularly great though as it is Dunstable  But theres the usual selection of Weatherspoons, kebab shops, KFC or just a good old curry.

Cool! Make a yoke :)
will see what i can do about getting there, i'm sure there is something happening already but will check :)

Wow this sounds great, I'd love to come, I'm only about 30 to 40 minutes away.

I'll have a crack at the weights but I have a feeling I'll just embarrass myself haha:p

Some of the smaller dudes at my gym have come and trained with us and they really enjoy it so don't worry about embaressing yourself. Like FF said, just come and have fun

Slowly working on a custom one CW using a wheel barrow without the wheel/bracket on the bottom.

2 hours each way is a mission for me, especially when I have to get up early on a Sunday.
