Battlefield 1943

Don't quote me on this, but I recall the original BF1942 took into account all kinds of things with sniper rifles. Like the trajectory and velocity of the bullet, the bullet dropping over long distances, and the time it takes for the bullet to travel a long distance (like a lag of a second or so as the bullet actually moves across the map), etc. Not sure if this has been factored into this game as well.

Consider yourself quoted...muhahahaha..anyway

I read the same sort of thing mate however I took it with a pinch of salt, I'd say the hitboxes are just naff on the move and they through that in to make it sound realistic. I can hit people on the move though it is difficult, you basically need to aim a few cm ahead on screen, find it deadly with a sniper of course due to time between shots

There's just no logic to this game. Why does it take one shot from an anti-tank weapon to destroy my tank completely yet when I try attacking a tank it takes at least three? Are some tanks weaker than others?

I tried hitting a baddie with my wrench for a melee attack. Did he die? No, he managed to unload four bullets from his semi-automatic rifle whilst firing in the opposite direction. It's just total nuts.

It doesn't only take one shot to take out a tank...

Though im not sure if they have made it so the rear is weaker than the front etc. Is it just my imagination or is the Zero (jap plane) better at tighter turns than the Americans plane?

Rear if definitely the weak-point of a tank, takes 3 shots shooting the front, just 2 shooting the rear/tracks.

In BF2, the rear of the tanks took less dmg to destroy. Could be the same for 1943. I didn't get enough time to destroy any tanks in my 30 min trial.

Well I don't know what the heck's going on then. My tank went from full health to red in one second and the next thing I know I'm dead, having apparently been killed by a wrench whilst still in the tank!

Its rare, only noticed it when my mate pointed it out.

Im running 16:9 so might be a widescreen issue, and on the 360 as well.

Odd. I will try recreate the issue tonight and get a pic

Anyone else getting some graphic artefacts every now and then....

purple ones mainly, across the screen.

Just had a game with a huge black artifact coming all the way from a carrier, like a large black pole going across the whole game. Only time ive seen it though....couple of other people saw it too.
