Really impressive.

What exactly is the dead pixel policy on the dells provided by ocuk? And if it were to be deemed a replaceable screen can you do it through ocuk or will it have to go back to dell?

had to snap one up instantly :)

only 1 thing is worrying me, it doest state what colour the monitor is

cause i was just looking at dells website and noticed they come in silver

can someone confirm that it is indeed black

any help is much appreciated

cheers

Oh, and price is wrong, lol. £199.98 on the product page!

I ordered one of these last night still thinking they were pre-order, only to find out they were in stock :D

Will DPD deliver it tomorrow as i have sent it to my work address? :(

No-one here will be disappointed with the performance. Most ppl here set the brightness to 10, contrast to 75, and leave the vidcard adjustments at default:).

If you chose Saturday delivery yes. It will be a failed attempt if they're closed but if you call DPD they may be able to help.

I just chose next day. Its not a problem as the reception is open until 1 if they deliver and if not i'll be at work on monday. Im just happy they came back in to stock earlier than stated :D

Interested in this one boys!

Great price.

Would the difference in quality be substantial over my current 22" Samsung 2253LW?

Jon

I have just gotten one for myself and for the money I am blown away. As all the other staff will know I have been looking for a monitor since November.

I sit infront of a NEC 2690WUXi all day which makes it very hard to "step down" to say a 2408WFP or a NEX GX3 without feeling as though something was not right be it input lag or viewing angles.

The Dell has great viewing angles, decent colour reproduction and no input lag or ghosting. Have one dead pixel (:() in the bottom right of the screen but for the merits of the screen I can easily live with it.

Will be getting myself another one in a couple of weeks, if we still have them in stock! :D

Ooo, so tempted! Been looking for a new monitor to replace my current LG 19" Widescreen Flatron L197WH at the moment.. Debating 22, 23 or 24" though? Hmm! ;)
