hiding a dock icon but keep it Running ?

Hi,

i have both skype and Adium running at the same time and i am using the skype plug-in on adium so is it possible to keep skype running but not have it in the dock as i don't see the need for both to be there.

If you have a Skype plugin for Adium, why do you need to have the Skype app open? :confused:

Maybe it just shows his contacts in Adium, but still requires Skype to be open and connected?

because the plug-in needs skype to be running
