Are the DLC's on 360 worth the moneys?

I really enjoyed Fallout and wouldn't mind getting them if its not a rip off.

Broken Steel also offers a new perk that converts every 10 bottles of Nuka Cola you collect in to one bottle of Nuke Cola Quantum :D

Operation Anchorage and The Pitt are quite short but they offer a longer Fallout 3 experience in very different enviroments. Anchorage is very shooter based. More so than usual. The Pitt is more the normal Fallout 3 stuff. Talk to people, kill, find stuff and roam around. Broken Steel is the best of the 3. It obviously now opens up the game so it never ends. Adds a great new storyline in fighting the Enclave. Lifts the maximum character level from 20 to 30 and adds loads of new perks.

If you enjoyed Fallout 3 so much and have spare Microsoft points. Buy all 3! :D
 
Thats the thing, I don't have any MS points, I'd have to get some just for this, Although I did really enjoy Fallout one of the few games I actually wanted to complete (still gotta get the 50 hacked terminals for the acheivments tho....), which is why I think it might be worth it.
 
I think Broken Steel is definitely worth it. I'm unsure on Anchorage. It's fun but not really that long. Haven't played The Pitt yet but definitely going to pick it up.

If you don't want to buy Microsoft points it looks like the DLC might be coming out on disc, well Anchorage and The Pitt, according to a compeititor.
 
Just started playing Fallout 3 again, I'm on the last part of finding out for a Wasteland survival guide.
 
Just picked this up again to give it another go after not really liking it first time round even though i am a huge fan of oblivion. This time i have bought it on the PS3. Heard that it looked better on the PS3 and i just wanted to start from scratch.

One question though, how do i install the game to the PS3 hard drive? I remember that you could install oblivion to the HDD and it loaded quicker, is there anyway to do this with Fallout?

IIRC it does it automagically as you play. I think the same is true with Oblivion.
 
Started playing this a couple of weeks back and loving it, haven't really got that far as yet, up to level 7 and done several of the quests but I have a question; With all the various DLC packs out there is it worth doing any of these now before carrying on with the main game? That is will they give me any form of advantage?

I don't think there's any disadvantage or advantage of heading off into the DLC before or after the 'vanilla' sidequests. It's worth remembering that Broken Steel raises the level cap to 30 and allows you play on after the 'end'.
 
Nearly completed Fallout3 (again, gone back into it to do all the side quests, speech successes, etc, etc).

Will be purchasing DLC, but don't know which is the best logical step to do this. Is there a specific DLC to download that continues the story, and because of how the main game ends (will try not to spoil it) can I only play the DLC if I've not completed the end?

Might be worth waiting for the extended version which has all the goodies, coming out later this year. You could alwasy trade-in or sell your current copy.

Get Broken Steel first then it doesn't really matter which order you do the rest in. Broken Steel continues right after the main story.
 
Loving point lookout at the moment - this game has been amazing from start to finish if I overlook the occasional crashing problem.
