Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 64-Bit - OEM + Windows 7 Upgrade Voucher

Hi guys,

Now that my windows xp installation has given up the ghost after getting that fake security centre hijacker im using the windows 7 RC. Knowing what microcraps operating systems are like at launch I want to wait until atleast SP1 before I purchase it. However I noticed that there is a 64-bit version of Vista home premium on the site with an upgrade voucher for windows 7. What I want to know is if I purchase it, when it comes time for me to install windows 7 will I have to upgrade vista from a clean install or will the copy of windows 7 be the stand alone version that you can buy directly in the shops? :confused:

Sorry if its a dumb question but some clarification on this would be good?

somebody will correct me if im wrong but it'll be a clean install as there is no W7 upgrade path in europe.

and there is no point in waiting for sp1. w7 is already better than vista. After all it is just a very polished version of vista and not a complete rebuild.

Yeah but ive noticed a few compatability issues with online virus scanners like house call and even some driver issues with my mobo....

don't visit cack websites or do dodgy things and you won't get any viruses

Yep Avira Antivir works fine with W7!
