Well I know that I'm dumb enough to actually buy the prestige edition :o

No idea what I'd actually do with night vision goggles, take up stalking I suspect.
 
The cheapest night vision goggles i've found online are just a hair under £200 and it isn't even a headset, just a monocular. Methinks this shall be an expensive bundle.
 
If the package is under £150 im saddened to admit that i might actually be tempted :p

Dumbest thing ever but at the same time coolest thing ever? My bet is these will be cheap plastic NV goggles you would see on sale at toys r us.

Also, who in there right mind is going to walk outside with these on? Unless you're 13 years old. These will be cool for 10 minutes, then you'll throw it in the corner of room to collect dust.

But can't the same be said for any other gubbins that comes with a special edition of a game? Master Chief helmet? Gears of War lancer?

Yes, all special editions are stupid. I've only bought one SE of a game ever, that was GTA4. The artbook and cd are in the lock box and the lock box is in the bag and the bag is in the attic. :D

Yeah, I see them and just think 'Ooh I must have toys!' And then they sit on my shelf for eternity :(

Still, I want night vision goggles! :p
 
I think I'll go for the normal edition, collectors edition doesn't really have any extras I want and the boxes for collectors editions tend to take more effort to open than the normal edition.
