Looking for lunch ideas as I'm sick to death of sandwiches, I know the obvious Pot Noodle, Micro Chips and Chicago Town deep dish pizza aren't bad but what else is there?

I'm loving the Uncle Ben's microwaveable rice pouches.

LOADS of different flavours, and on special in Sains at the mo.

I've only tried about 5 of the flavours, with Egg Fried and Spicy Mexican being my favs. (I have 3 packets in my work drawer, hehe.)

This.

Besides heating stuff up I only nuke these pouches.

not strictly microwaveable but:

tiger tiger cup noodles > yucky pot noodles :D

especially the hot&sour chinese one *nods*

back to the microwave, Sainsburys do Cheesy Mashed Potato for about £1.30, it's totally bland but works after a night out :)

scrambled egg isn't to bad microwaved imo :D. 40 seconds in take out stir do that 4 times and got a quick meal ;D

Microwaves are only good for reheating - that's all I use them for. any food that's supposed to be microwaved is not food.
Agreed. I once caught a mate cooking bacon in the microwave. I wasn't impressed
