Audi New Sensor? - Rain, lights...radar..something...?

I find it hard to beleive the ball would remain trapped in the glass, most of the time it would surely have smashed it and bounced off

Side an rear windows when hit will 90% if not more of the time crack into tiny sections and the whole window will fall out, if the window doesn't fall out and something hits it you can tell because the rest of the window also shatters.

Laminated glass doesn't do this, but since laminated glass is usually only used on the windscreen..........

But go on show me a side or rear window that hasn't been laminated hold an object like the pictures in the OP.
 
There are companies selling a sticker AND a half golf ball with adhesive backing. THAT could very well be what it was but seriously.... who puts that on an Audi TTS? :D

I'm going to have to grab my Fuji and keep it in-car if I come across this again and find out for sure! :o
