Hi All
I've been having a few problems running Crysis on my PC. It's a new i7 build with 6Gb Corsair dominator RAM and an XFX ATI 4870x2.
I've been running the graphics card on manual so I can dictate the fan speed. I set the speed to around 40 - 45% so to keep the card cool when playing. On Crysis, I simply could not get it working correctly. There just seemed to be random polygons all over the screen and made playing virtually impossible - No matter what the game settings were...
Anyway, I reset Crysis one back from high detail (is that Gamer?)... Still got the problem... I reset Catalyst so the card controls everything, including the fan speed, and voila!... Works perfectly...
Anyone had this happen to them? - I'm a tad worried as the card now goes up to 90 degrees!...
