1150BHP in an RS200 is just nuts! How embarresing will it be if Fords factory built brand new 800BHP Fiesta with Gronholm gets beated by some guys in a shed with a 20 year old car and a tank of nitrous?

That's just awesome, I love those RS200's. I suspect their 'shed' is probably quite big though.

Saw an RS200 go round the Goodwood rally stage at the FoS. Was a great sight, but no where near 1150bhp. This thing will be crazy.

Anyone know how much power the RS2000 engine will push out at 4300 metres (14,100ft) above sea level ??

If the 950bhp (1150bhp with nitrous) was tested at sea level

its turbo, the turbo should produce the same manifold pressure regardless, it will boost till the wastegate stops it

You might find that the N2O is fitted for that reason - rather than a power adder, its existance in this installation may be instead to resolve the lack of ambient oxygen and maintain engine performance (and reliability) rather than improve it.
