An e46 M3.
As some of you know, my 330d has gone to its next owner (also a member of this forum
). I managed nearly 43,000 trouble free miles in over three years. It was a superb ownership experience as a day to day car and I may one day buy another (albeit in touring form).Anyway - onto the new car. I was after an M3 and was hoping to buy it late August. I had a very specific specification, so wasn't fussed about rushing into one. However, the right one came up at the right time - so here it is. Specs are:

Everything about it is sublime. The 330 certainly wasn't slow and handled well, but this is on a completely different level. Everything about it feels special, and the ACS exhaust complements the engine perfectly higher up the revs.
I have no regrets about the SMG gearbox and am certain I made the right choice - great for lazy driving around town and great when you're really pushing on.
I wanted to get something special with the best possible driving experience from a day to day road car. The M3 has more than exceeded my expectations
