Will You Buy Windows 7???

Windows 7 pummels Vista pre-order sales

Windows 7 has surged to the top of bleep software chart, just hours after the new operating system became available for pre-order on the online retailer's site.

Bleep said more copies of Windows 7 have been pre-ordered in its first eight hours on the site than Windows Vista achieved in its entire 17-week pre-order period.

At 10am, Windows 7 Home Premium E held the number one spot in bleep software chart, while Windows 7 Professional E was at number two. The two versions were the only software packages to have been in Bleep,s chart for less than 100 days.

lol see your point :) doubt that would ever be the case, though you never know.
I'm just thinking, for instance, if you only had the one computer, bought Windows from a shop, came home and installed it. You have no friends, and no other computer. You therefore have no internet. You can't even get it on cd as you need the internet to order one.

I'm sure they'll offer IE via Windows Update.
Does windows update need IE?

no it's been down most of the night and now today, it just got hammered.

I was about to submit my order with payment details in, then it crashed and now has the message on there. More than a little annoyed if I miss out, especially with people pre-ordering loads of copies for possible profitable purposes ;)

Go back to the shop and I am sure they would accomodate an Internet browser on disc for you.
Plus it will be available in upgrades?
