The M5 has a new friend...

Nice, very nice :) The E46 M3 just seems to get better and better.

Could you post a pic of the back seats please?

Awesome, just awesome, and exactly the spec I will be looking for in the next 2 years.

Just need to buy a damn house/flat first :D

Yeah I did have a 335 planned as my next car but considering Elephant gave me a good quote on a 2003 M3 I'm now more inclined to go that route especially with indy prices at main dealer.

The M3 also has an extra seat whereas none of the newer coupes do. But will finding a nice example in a year or so be possible that is the question.

NEEDS EMFREE MIRRORS! OHWAITLUL!

Chavzorst has definitely grown on me, it does look quite good. Nice photos too, however a fairy dies every time you use your camera in auto.

Photos were taken in AV which is not fully auto. AV and TV are modes used by everyone regardless of experience.

What quote did you get mrk?

Think I was quoted at £850 or so with Bell. That's with me being 25 (ok made myself a year older to get to that apparent magic 25), 7yrs no claims, garaged, 5k per year etc.

I got quoted an additional £400 on my current premium of £750 which is not bad with 1yrs NCB. That's with driveway overnight keep, 15k average a year mileage. I am 25 btw.

I have yet to change my job title and other finer details that can help bring it down further so will do that at the time I guess :p

Admiral quoted me £3000 for 2003 M3 Cab, 10k miles a year, 0 NCB, garaged but i'm 22 which is the downer. As a main driver on my parents policy brings it down to £1250 but then I won't earn NCB will I?

lol... I always shoot AV. Most of his are auto. Anyway, it was only a little joke at Nick JEEEEESSSSUUSS :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Om nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom

The M3 really needs those 19" wheels IMO. Gorgeous looking car.

A 'main driver'? You mean a policyholder? That will earn you NCB, yes. Or do you mean a named driver - unless its your parents car this isn't really an option.

Am i the only one thinking how much more modern the M3 looks when compared with the M5? (I think agw_01 you are hinting towards this with the wheel thing?) Never thought about it too much but sat next to each other like that its quite apparent.

Not to knock the M5 in any way (peter), still a lovely blistering car, but the E46 has definitely aged better. That said i guess the E39 is an older design so it is to be expected.

Either that or i am just biassed as i chuffing love the M3
