personally i always have 2 phones on me. my blackberry (the skinny one) for work calls / emails / BBM and my 6700 for home calls / texts.

people ask why i dont just combine the 2 but personally i like to have them seperate.

anyone else always lugging around 2 phones....?

Yeah, I carry two as well. A work phone (N97 on Vodafone) and a personal phone (E71 on 3). I'd rather have two phones than be contactable by work 24/7.

thats my thinking. go on holiday and leave work phone at home!
 
I have a Touch HD which is a contract in my name and an old Samsung phone which is a contract in my parents name which runs out in a week :).

Then back to one phone, although I am tempted to get a blackberry for emails etc as I don't like Orange data packages!
 
I used to have two phones - blackberry (work) + P900 for personal. After a bit I, and work, decided that was daft and I switched to just be BB. Three BB phones and years later they decided that personal calls are no longer allowed and they're moving everyone to Palm Treo 500s (bags of excrement). Then I decided I was going to leave the company.. back to a HTC Herald borrowed from a friend with a PAYG sim.

Today I have just ordered an iPhone 3Gs (16GB) in black for the principle reason I hate windows mobile and additionally I've started developing applications for the iPhone so I hope I can recoup some money towards it :D
 
3 phones here.

iPhone (mine), E71 (work) and a Blackberry Pearl when I'm on call.

Hate the blackberry but love both the E71 & iPhone.
 
why do people carry 2 phones for work? Surely out of hours support calls can go to the work mobile number?

2 phones here by the way... 1 personal, 1 work. Best to keep them separate :)
 
I had two phones for a few months and it drove me crazy! A Nokia 6233 and 7600. Just got one now a Nokia 5800. Anyway you know what they say? "Never trust a man with 2 phones.."
 
I had two phones, 1 work (bb 8900) and my samsung tocco but my tocco does nothing anymore. I love my blackberry and if work want to give me a phone, im going to use it for personnel calls. especially to my family abroad :)
only perk I get on the wage im on :(

Not sure of his setup, but i'm assuming that he has his permanent work phone for all the time use, and then the out of hours support phone is probably shared with other people depending on whose stint it is.

I have a work phone I never use, primarily because the phone is unbearably gash (HTC S730), and it is cumbersome having more than one phone. I usually just have my boss call me on my personal phone and ask anyone else to email me.
 
Im carrying 3 atm.

1) Personal N97 - Vodafone
2) Personal motorola - O2 (old personal phone which used to be N95, sold the N95 to get new N97 contract) - O2 contract still live, will be diverting this to new mobile and leaving at home soon.
3) Work Mobile - Nokia E71 - Vodafone.

Indeed this. It drives me nuts to be honest, and a lot of the time the E71 ends up being on divert. Cant do that with the BB unfortunately....

To be fair I only have 3 phones once every 4 weeks.
