Silverstone Trackday Pics/911 Appreciation

Popped along to Silverstone this afternoon briefly as a spur of the moment thing to just get more track picture practise in. As always there was a plethora of different 911s there (amongst other things) and came away wanting one even more!

Focus and panning is perfect, have a play about with 'curves' 'levels' and the contrast to try and give them some more umph

Have a play about with the composition as well

Otherwise fantastic work mate.

Cheers for the tips! Have tried it on 2 pics so far (doing pretty much the same things) and quite pleased with them, don't think it's toooo ott!

(I feel this should really be in the photography section, but ah well

I used photoshop, haven't got lightroom, I've seen a few people mention it now, is it meant to be good?

They do look very odd, dead front on they look pretty menacing though!

Might've got a few snaps of the 430 you're talking about, there were 2 there, a normal scuderia (not sure you can put normal and scuderia next to each other!) and the GT3 spec one in the pics.

The 430 Challenge was Red with Silver wheels.

Sadly I wasn't, I was planning on spending a bit of time there but the weather was pants when I got there so retired after not long at all like the sissy I am

I could not get on with Photoshop too well, Lightroom is easlier to use IMO as it's designed towards the novice. Good piece of software though.
