So I need a new lid and was looking for something of reasonable cost when I found a Caberg V2R with the integrated drop down sun visor, when I asked the assistant what they were like they not suprisingly started pushing me towards the higher end of the market.

Anyway, came home and started googling and came across the Sharp rating page and was very happy to see my wanted budget lid scoring 5 stars, nice :)

I'll be off to see if it suits my head soon methinks.

The SHARP test isn't all its cracked up to be, only testing in specfic areas and not testing the flip up front to see if its pops open and such.

Top manafacturers such as ARAI scored quite low at the start of SHARP, they said the test wasnt area was highly unlikely to happen in a crash due to shoulders and it is easy to make a helmet work well in the SHARP test.

I'd never buy anything other than a full face anyway.

Same can be said of all tests from what I've been reading :(
