Got 43 seconds on Windows 7 Build 7264, expected quicker but I do have a lot of stuff on startup, steam, avast, logitech setpoint, virtual clone drive.

Spec:

Q6600 @ Stock
4Gb of DDR2
OCZ Vertex 120Gb 1.3FW

Got it down to 43 after a few goes and after setting trim.

Wait for me to install Vista tomorrow, and i will restart in less than 30 seconds.

Keep your eyes peeled :p

Andy

Doesn't count using some stupid motherboard gimmik to boot it quickly, which doesn't work in Windows 7 and therefore doesn't apply to this thread!

Using hibernation, it must be 10-15 seconds. Sleep is instant. Probably would be faster with a fresh install and format since the ssd drive has degraded slightly.

Intel Pentium 4 3.4GHz
2GB RAM
Western Digital Caviar 300GB (150 Mbps)

All in all quite pleased with that actually :D considering XP dual boot and login..

Surely it's how much stuff you have on your PC in the first place, which will then determine boot time.
