I have a daughter!!

Blimey she is so clean. Did they clean her at the hospital?

(This may seem strange question, but for those who haven't experienced a birth before, apparantly they no longer clean the babies after they are born as it makes them cold?!?).

Time to bump the fathers thread?

She wasn't cleaned. The white goo that was all over her is like a moisturiser so it's all soaked into her skin now.

Awesome news Pete, she's gorgeous.

Does this mean you'll be free for MM7 now?

I really want to go but I think i'm gonna be skint. Well, am skint now plus need to get a few more bits.

How much is it going to cost exactly? Two tanks of juice, roughly 400 miles driving? (Accounting for stupidly low MPG)

Oh no, I can already detect the 'priority shift' ...next you'll be on the motors forum showing us all your 'new' diesel hatchback and telling us how great the mpg is, don't do it :D !

Anyway, congratulations again, she actually doesn't look like Winston Churchill, which is quite unusual for a new born baby :P

Oh another one, congratulations to SoundsGood too then, I can't keep up with this, all these babies popping out left right and centre!

it's about 95 miles from here to birch services, then 50 miles of driving, then 95 miles back, so you should easy manage on a tank.
