(This may seem strange question, but for those who haven't experienced a birth before, apparantly they no longer clean the babies after they are born as it makes them cold?!?).

She wasn't cleaned. The white goo that was all over her is like a moisturiser so it's all soaked into her skin now.

Mine arrived this morning. A gorgeous baby boy. Waters broke at 10pm, contractions started at 4, out at 11:08. Gas and a shot of pethadin. Looked horrifically painful, very glad to be male..

Congrats to you aswell. It's always good to outnumber the females.

it's about 95 miles from here to birch services, then 50 miles of driving, then 95 miles back, so you should easy manage on a tank.
