Criticize my filming of porthcawl beach

Looks nice, however there are a couple of criticisms.

1. Get a tripod, the waving around during scenes is a bit annoying.
2. A bit of post processing wouldn't go amis, more contrast and saturation would be my suggestion, at the moment it looks a bit flat. :)

I got a £60 vanguard MG-3 tripod it’s amazing and stays dead still but it’s something inside the camera which makes it wavy or it could have been the freakishly fast winds we had that day

I do not understand your criticism number 2! post processing, flat? This is new to me please explain?

i really liked it, though i do agree with the tripod part

good work though, can i ask why you made it?

Good question lol my best answer would be because I was bored

And to be honest I didnt say the truth, while I filmed that I used a cheap crappy tripod costing me £10 years ago. I realised how bad it was and purchased the vanguard MG-3. It’s an amazing tripod.

Do you have image stabilization turned on for it? I think if you're using a tripod you shouldn't need it.

Flat in photography terms means lacking contrast/colour and impact. It happens a lot for photos, and just a little boost of the contrast and saturation normally sorts it out.:)

As for the wavyness some of it was really bad (which is why I assumed you were hand holding), but the combination of cheapy cheap tripod and wind will probably be the cause. For that sort of conditions you need a good sturdy tripod with some weight, which that new tripod looks like it has.:)

Nice video and the music goes very well - it makes me want to go to the sea! What editing software did you use?

There are a couple of scenes where you can see the horizon and its not horizontal. This happens on so many home videos, just something to look out for next time you film.

I would also look at putting in a few some simple transitions to break up the change of subject. Something like fade to black or dissolve.

Are there any decent sites you could supply me with about contrast and colour correction tutorials or lessons? I have been looking none stop on google and these days you can never get any help for free.
