I'm sure that will make some people happy! :)

£306.99 is an *amazing* price for a motherboard though, that must be a really tough sell! :D

Lovely price.

Just curious, whats the difference between this and the X58 LE edition for £188?

cheers

Only useful to mega overclockers, the nf200 version I guess could be justified for the extra bandwith when GT300 etc comes out, though unless your running some serious OC I'd probably take the LE.

Infact I just might, any word on its release?

Not sure if OcUK gonna be stocking them, but they are already out in the UK.

Looking at one myself, been following some threads to see how it clocks, reviews say its pretty good, but the board does get a little hot.

I've been looking a the SLi LE too but a couple of this have put me off.
1. Apparently it becomes very hot very quickly
and
2. Even thought you have all those PCI-E slots, their speeds are locked ie you only have one x16 out of the four slots you have.

http://www.ninjalane.com/reviews/motherboards/evga_x58_le/page2.aspx

"Under each of the PCIe slots you will find a label describing the number assigned to that slot and how many PCIe lanes have been allocated. The topmost slot is 16x, while the lower slots divide up the remaining lanes in an 8x, 4x 8x, configuration. According to EVGA all of the PCI Express slots are locked meaning that the lanes do not vary depending on what devices you have installed."

I totally agree and a little put off mainly with the cooling. I saw some MIPS NB/Mosfet blocks, no doubt it will cost a bit.

Would love to get the Classfieid to replace the R2E

The classified seems to me to be over priced. I can't see anything on it that any other X58 board has other than a few more USB's, SATA ports and what, and extra PCI-E? I think I'll still go with the P6T v2 thanks. Having said that it does look a good board but looking at the large cooling around the CPU I'm not sure how many air coolers will get in to that spot. It certainly doesn't look as if a Megahalems would fit.

this classified is the 760A the nf200 is non longer available for sale, this is the non nf200 version and not worth the extra £100 or so over other motherboards to be honest.

what he said. its the 759 resvision that was coming nf200 and 16x 16x 16x

a word of warning, EVGA boards have a thing about setitng on fire and then there Euro Tech services are ****.

surly not the X58 onces ?

the older LGA775 (Nvida) chipset you meant?

My x58 went up in flames, took over 3 weeks to replace the board, CS promissed to compensate me for the damagad cables and the burn marks on my case and then just stoped repling to my emails.

Looks really nice but I'm stuck with the LGA775 sockets at the moment. Might look at that to replace my rampage, although I might not if I understand correctly lol
